Sobyanin spoke about internship opportunities for residents of the Lomonosov cluster

A new service, Technohunter, will be launched on the capital's i.moscow platform. According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, from September 1, students, postgraduates and graduates of Moscow universities will be able to use this service to get internships with resident companies of the Lomonosov cluster.

"This is a great opportunity for the guys to gain real—world experience," the mayor wrote in the MACH messenger. "For the city, it is to attract young specialists to the innovative development of the capital."

Currently, the service contains requests from more than 20 enterprises. Among them is a software developer based on neural networks, as well as a company that creates new polymer materials.

As the mayor reminded, Lomonosov residents "have been hiring young specialists who are ready to contribute to the development of Moscow innovations for several years." In addition, the cluster hosts guided tours that introduce students and graduates to the specifics of innovative companies and help them make internship decisions.

Earlier in August, Sobyanin decided to extend youth employment support measures to Muscovites between the ages of 30 and 35. Previously, such projects covered citizens under the age of 30. Young people between the ages of 30 and 35 can now find work through temporary employment of graduates of higher and secondary vocational education institutions. They will also be able to participate in special youth practice programs.

According to the press service of the Moscow government, "in 2020, the Moscow employment service helped employ more than 50,000 young people under the age of 30." "The extension of existing support measures to residents of the city under the age of 35 will make it possible to assist in finding employment for more citizens who are experiencing difficulties in finding work," the publication stated.
