Sea service between Sochi and Sukhum will be launched at the end of August
Regular sea service between Sochi and Sukhum will resume on August 30. The high-speed vessel "Kometa" will run weekly on weekends, the press service of the city Department of Transport reports.
The capacity of the "Comet" is 120 passengers, the travel time is about two hours. Navigation between the two Black Sea cities will last until October 1.
Tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices of the marine station. A single round-trip travel document will cost from 2000 to 2500 rubles, writes KrasnodarMedia news agency.
Earlier it was reported that a new stop was equipped at Sochi airport for regular passenger traffic. From there, you can take buses to Sevastopol, Simferopol, Yalta and Yevpatoria.
