The body of climber Alexander Rastorguev, who died in the mountains of Kabardino-Balkaria, is difficult to remove due to the danger to rescuers and a helicopter. Aliy Anaev, director of the Bezengi alpine camp, told Izvestia about this on August 28.

"You can't stay in that place for long. The following optimistic scenario is planned: fly in by helicopter tomorrow, pack it up and work it out more quickly on an external suspension and take it out of the danger zone," Anaev explained.

According to Anaev, rescuers flew around the location by helicopter, but have not yet descended for the body, as there is a possibility of a repeated rockfall.

He added that the group that was hit by the rockfall was doing everything as expected, but they were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

On August 27, the ex-president of the Krasnodar Territory Mountaineering Federation, Rastorguev, was hit by a rockfall and died in the mountains of Kabardino-Balkaria. His two companions were evacuated.
