The Island of Dreams has become the main venue for the celebration of the City Day in the Southern Administrative District of Moscow

The Island of Dreams cultural and entertainment cluster has become the main venue in the Southern Administrative District of Moscow for the celebration of City Day, which will take place on the second weekend of September.

On September 14, a large-scale celebration "The City on Seven Hills: from the origins to the Future" will take place in the Southern Landscape Park "Islands of Dreams", organized jointly with the Prefecture of the Southern Administrative District of Moscow and the Moscow State Budgetary Institution "OKC Southern Administrative District".

The main idea of the event is to create a unique space where each guest can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of modern interactive leisure, get acquainted with the rich cultural heritage of the capital and feel like a part of a great history.

As part of the celebration, seven themed hill areas will appear in the park, each of which will reflect one of the historical hills of Moscow and will be filled with interactive activities.:

Borovitsky Hill (Makovitsa) is the Hill of Wisdom. A symbol of knowledge and history, the main area of the capital, where the Kremlin is located.

Chertolsky hill is a hill of crafts. A place of creativity and self-expression, symbolizing the winding path to mastery.

Pskovskaya Hill is a hill of arts. The zone of performing arts and cultural exchange.

Tagansky Hill (Shvivaya Gorka) is a Hill of wonders. The space of show programs, holidays and folk festivals

Ivanovskaya hill (Kulishki) is a hill of knowledge. A zone of technical and educational workshops.

Red (Passionate) hill is a hill of power. The territory of sports activities and mass events.

Staro-Vagankovsky hill is a hill of fun. A zone of games and entertainment, reflecting ancient traditions and fun rituals.

In each area, guests will be greeted by an infographic with historical information about the hill. A chatbot with a quiz has been compiled based on it: it will be possible to answer all the questions only by visiting all the sites. Participants who successfully complete the quest will have a chance to win memorable prizes.

The Island of Dreams invites residents and guests of Moscow to celebrate City Day together and join an event that will open up new facets of cultural leisure. The festival "The City on Seven Hills: from the Origins to the Future" will combine history and modernity, traditions and innovations, creativity and sports.
