Stavropol authorities are changing the infrastructure and creating a regulatory framework for the use of scooters. The measures are related to the large number of SIM cards in the city, the press service of the regional center administration reported on Thursday, August 28.

First of all, we are talking about increasing parking for such vehicles. During the year, their number increased more than eight times — from 73 to 578. This significantly streamlined the placement of scooters and reduced the risk of creating obstacles for pedestrians.

At the same time, the authorities noted that the increase in the number of parking lots did not affect the work of kicksharing companies, which continue to place equipment in the wrong places. In August alone, officials sent more than 50 notices of violations to rental companies.
