Two freight train cars derailed at the Telegino railway station of the Southeastern Railway. The incident occurred on June 26. The cars themselves and the railway track were damaged.

The cause of the accident was recognized as non-compliance with the correct installation of the switches.

Earlier, on August 13, it was reported that a train crashed in Palo Pinto County, Texas, possibly loaded with hazardous materials. About 35 wagons derailed. As a result of the incident, no one was injured. It is specified that the train belonged to the Union Pacific Railroad company.
