Employees of the Seoul Sodemungu district police station suspect the singer of violating medical laws. The rapper, who suffers from insomnia and depression, has been receiving prescriptions for zolpidem and alprazolam in a Seoul hospital since 2022 without the necessary personal consultations.

PSY's attending physician denied all charges, stating that consultations with the patient were conducted remotely.
