- Putin sent greetings to the participants of the Eastern Economic Forum – 2025
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has sent greetings to the participants, organizers and guests of the tenth anniversary Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held in Vladivostok on September 3-6.
In his greeting, the Head of state noted that over the past decade, the WEF has rightfully earned a high reputation. This representative event helps to introduce businesses, including foreign ones, to the unique economic, scientific, technological and infrastructural potential of the Russian Far Eastern territories, and promotes the expansion of multifaceted international cooperation.
"In this regard, the motto of the current Forum is very symbolic – "The Far East: cooperation for peace and prosperity." As the center of global economic activity increasingly shifts to the Asia-Pacific region, new opportunities are opening up for establishing mutually beneficial ties between the states of this part of the planet, not only on a bilateral basis, but also within the framework of such associations as the SCO and BRICS," Putin stressed.
The President of the Russian Federation added that Russia is ready for a constructive dialogue with all interested partners and intends to actively participate in collective efforts to build a fair system of international relations in the Asia-Pacific region based on genuine equality and respect for each other's legitimate interests.
"I am confident that the Forum participants – representatives of government departments and local authorities, entrepreneurs, experts and public figures from dozens of countries – will be able to thoroughly discuss topical issues on the regional and international agenda, outline new forms and mechanisms of joint work," Putin summed up.
