When is Trucker's Day in 2025

Traditionally, Trucker's Day is celebrated at the end of the summer season, which is considered one of the most intense in the field of cargo transportation. Usually, closer to autumn, the load becomes less, and truck drivers can gather with colleagues or family to celebrate the holiday.

It is celebrated every year on the last Saturday of August. In 2025, the date falls on August 30th. Next year, the celebration will be celebrated on the 29th.

What do truckers do?

Truckers are mainly engaged in the supply of food, as well as timber, fuel, and industrial products, including the delivery of cars and machinery. They have a great responsibility not only for the safety of the cargo, but also for timely delivery and the car itself.

On long-distance routes, drivers often work in pairs with a backup partner. There is usually a sleeping place in the cab so that the driver can rest while the other is driving.

Today, Trucker's Day is celebrated by logistics companies in Russia, Belarus and other republics of the former Soviet Union. Previously, such a holiday appeared in Canada, the USA and Australia.

Informal meetings and corporate events are usually held on the holiday, with awards for the best employees. Drivers are given bonuses or monetary rewards to celebrate their achievements.
