More than 130 events will be held in Moscow on City Day.

138 events are planned for the City Day, which will be celebrated in Moscow on September 13 and 14. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his channel in the MACH messenger.

The issue of the City Day celebration program was considered at a meeting of the Presidium of the Moscow government, the portal says. mos.ru . Festive events will be held on street squares in the city center and administrative districts, in parks, museums, universities. Master classes for children and adults, concerts, sports competitions, and festivals are planned.

In particular, festive concerts with the participation of popular artists will be held on September 13 and 14 on Poklonnaya Gora. Five platforms with screens and art objects will be installed near the Druzhba Narodov fountain at VDNKh. Visitors will see musical, literary and poetic performances.

Special programs for families with children are planned at the Northern and Southern River Stations, in the Moskino Park. These include concerts, sporting events, film screenings, and workshops. The best circus artists of Russia will perform in Izmailovsky and Yuzhnoye Butovo parks.

Festive festivals dedicated to the City Day will be held by the capital's universities. For example, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology is organizing a FestTech at the Atom Museum at VDNH, and the Pirogov-Fest will be held at the Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov.
