In the Amur region, a worker was killed during the construction of a gas chemical complex. This was announced on August 28 in the press service of the prosecutor's office of the region in the Telegram channel.

According to preliminary data, during the testing of the technological pipeline, a rupture of the design seam occurred, which caused the collapse of the soil and the fall of a polyethylene pipe onto an employee of the contractor.

It is noted that the man died at the scene from his injuries. An investigation is currently underway to determine the causes of the incident.

The prosecutor's office clarified that a criminal case had been opened into the incident under Part 2 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of safety rules during other work that negligently caused the death of a person").

In Perm, on August 26, one worker was killed and two others were injured in a gas explosion while preparing for the repair of railway tanks. It was established that the company's employees were allowed to operate without having completed occupational safety training. A check was ordered on the incident.
