The Rostov region was attacked by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as a result 89 people were evacuated. This was announced on August 28 by the acting governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

Slyusar clarified that a drone attack in the north of the region was repelled at night. The UAVs were shot down in Kamensky, Millerovsky and Chertkovsky districts. However, in the village of Mankovo-Kalitvenskoye, fragments of one of the devices fell on the roof of a house, damaging electrical wiring and leaving it without electricity.

"Due to the threat of detonation of a warhead stuck in the roof, residents of this and 50 neighboring private houses had to be evacuated — 89 people in total, including children," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
