The calculation of the Lancet barrage ammunition of the Vostok group of forces destroyed an American-made towed M198 howitzer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on August 28 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry clarified that the enemy's equipment was discovered by operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during aerial reconnaissance.

They transmitted the coordinates to the Lancet calculation, which eliminated the target with an accurate blow.

On August 27, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that an army aviation crew on a Mi-28NM helicopter destroyed the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was located in a wooded area in the area of responsibility of the Vostok group of forces. The Russian military attacked the enemy's reconnaissance targets with the help of air strikes.
