The media learned about the beating of the former head of the Polish Ministry of Health because of his decisions in the pandemic

Former Polish Minister of Health Adam Nedzielski was beaten in front of a restaurant in Siedlce, Masovian Voivodeship, presumably because of his decisions made during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was reported on August 27 by RMF24 radio station.

"The former Minister of Health was attacked by two men in front of a restaurant in the center of Siedlce. <...> at the time of the attack, the attackers were loudly criticizing the decisions made during the pandemic," the publication says.

According to the radio station, the police have launched an investigation into the incident, but law enforcement officials have not yet made any arrests.

The condition of Nedzielski, who served as head of the Polish Ministry of Health from 2020-2023, is unknown, but his life is not in danger.
