Germany is secretly building a network of railways that will be used for the rapid transfer of troops to the eastern flank. This was reported on August 27 by the German newspaper Der Tagesspiegel.

"Deutsche Bahn is a partner of Germany's Operational Plan to master new European challenges in the field of military logistics together with the Bundeswehr and NATO members," the publication says.
