Variety magazine on Wednesday, August 27, showed American actor Jude Law in the image of Russian President Vladimir Putin from a new film called The Wizard of Kremlin.

"The film directed by [Olivier] Based on Giuliano da Empoli's 2022 bestseller "The Kremlin Wizard" by Assayas and Emmanuel Carrera, it is expected to cause heated controversy during its premiere at the Venice Film Festival.

According to Assayas, Lowe "doesn't really look like" the Russian leader. He noted that the American actor completely rethought the image.
