Tatiana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Meteonosti news agency, told when the summer warmth will return to Moscow.

In an interview with Radio 1 on Wednesday, August 27, the specialist noted that the weather in the last days of August in the capital resembles the "curtain of summer." Atmospheric conditions will be affected by the western anticyclone: pressure is rising, the wind is changing to the south, and warm air is entering the region.

Rain is expected in Moscow and the region on Friday, but the temperature will start to rise and reach +22 degrees. Over the weekend, the air will warm up to +27 degrees, and the nights will be warm in summer. Precipitation is expected to be short-term and localized.

Pozdnyakova stressed that on Saturday and Sunday the temperature will exceed the climatic norm by 3-4 degrees. The heat will subside next week, but the warm nights will remain.
