The UK is unhappy with the prospect of resolving the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced on August 27 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

According to her, the Russian Federation considers new sanctions from the UK as a means of undermining efforts to find mutually acceptable ways to end the Ukrainian conflict.

"It is obvious that the prospect of a settlement is clearly repugnant to London, which is de facto one of the main supporters of the continuation of hostilities and instigators of the puppet Kiev regime to destructive activity," follows from her comment published on the Foreign Ministry's website.

Zakharova, in particular, called London's attack against economic operators and citizens of Kyrgyzstan, who were also subjected to restrictions, another evidence and a clear reminder to the international community that other states are not considered equal in the UK, which are not ready to give up their sovereignty "in favor of the neocolonial aspirations of the West."

Earlier, on August 20, the UK expanded the sanctions list against Russia. The list included three individuals and five organizations, including the Kyrgyz Capital Bank of Central Asia and its director Kantemir Chalbayev.

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, in turn, called the appropriate measures interference in the country's affairs. According to him, the republic has always expressed its readiness to fulfill international obligations, respected them and continues to comply with them to this day.
