The BRICS+ Fashion Summit international Forum has opened at the Zaryadye Concert Hall in Moscow. It will last until August 30, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

The BRICS+ Fashion Forum is being held in Moscow for the third time. "Experts from all over the world discuss joint projects, attracting investments, the use of modern technologies and key vectors of industry development," said the deputy mayor.

The BRICS+ Fashion Summit is organized as part of the Moscow Fashion Week. Designers, entrepreneurs, and experts from 65 countries, including China, Brazil, India, Malaysia, and the United Arab Emirates, will participate in the event.

Screenings of collections by foreign authors are planned for the guests. In particular, clothing and accessories will be presented by craftsmen from Brazil, Turkey, South Africa and Guatemala.

Lectures by domestic and foreign experts will also be held at several venues for 320 beginners selected by the jury. The audience will learn about how to enter international markets and promote the brand on social media.

The exhibition "Native Motifs" was opened within the framework of the forum. It presents the national costumes of the peoples of the Urals, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Yakutia, Kabardino—Balkaria and other parts of Russia, as well as modern images inspired by them. Among the antique exhibits are a dress decorated with minted coins of the second half of the 19th century, hats and sundresses of that time.
