A friend of TV presenter Nikolai Drozdov, artist Konstantin Miroshnik responded to rumors about the deterioration of his condition.
In conversation with aif.ru On Wednesday, August 27, Miroshnik said that rumors about the deterioration of the health of the host of the program "In the world of animals" are not true. According to him, Drozdov moves independently and feels well.
"No, he gets up and walks. Likes to be at home. It's still that age now. He doesn't like autumn, when it's hot, then it's raining, then it's slippery. And when it rains, he doesn't leave the house, so as not to slip. So everything is fine with him. We're moving. 88 years old, and the flight is normal," said Miroshnik.
Prior to this, information appeared in the media that the daughters allegedly left Drozdov without support after the operation, due to which he was allegedly bedridden and unable to walk on his own.
As noted by 360.ru Drozdov underwent elective knee surgery in July. He stayed in the hospital for four days, after which he returned home for further recovery.
Meanwhile, Konstantin Miroshnik previously noted that the zoologist was not hospitalized, but was limited to special injections for knee joints, which he gets every six months, writes RT. According to RIAMO, Drozdov was diagnosed with deforming gonarthrosis of the knee joints of the third degree. As explained by NSN, one knee practically does not bend, which is why the man is forced to use a cane. It was also clarified that conservative therapy — medications and physiotherapy — brought temporary relief, but the symptoms returned in full.
Last year, the TV presenter's relatives also denied reports of his hospitalization due to ill health. At that time, Drozdov's deteriorating condition was associated with complications in the fight against cancer.
