A man was killed in a truck collision in Transbaikalia

In the Mogochinsky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory, as a result of a collision between two heavy trucks, one person was killed and one injured. The regional State Traffic Inspectorate reports this in its Telegram channel.

The accident occurred on Wednesday morning, August 26, on the 733rd km of the Amur federal highway. FAW and Scania trucks collided, writes ChitaMedia news agency.

A 52-year-old Scania driver was killed in the accident. Judging by the photos from the scene, the main impact was on the side of the cabin where the man was. A 39-year-old passenger of the second truck was also injured in the collision, and he was taken to the hospital.

The circumstances of the incident are being established.

On the morning of August 27, on the road in the Krasnodar Territory, a Fiat passenger car drove into oncoming traffic without overtaking and crashed into a Sitrak truck. The 42-year-old driver of the car was killed, his 12-year-old and 41-year-old female passengers were taken to the hospital with injuries.
