The UK has launched an investigation into the fall of a child from a window in Usolye-Sibirsky

In Usolye-Sibirsky (Irkutsk region), a check has been organized on the fact that a one-and-a-half-year-old boy fell from a fourth-floor window. The regional SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia reports this in its Telegram channel.

The incident occurred last Sunday, August 24, in an apartment building on Karl Liebknecht Street. A one-and-a-half-year-old boy fell out of an apartment on the fourth floor, who, according to preliminary data, was left unattended, the prosecutor's office said.

The child suffered various injuries as a result of falling from a height. He was taken to the children's city hospital, IrkutskMedia news agency writes.

Upon the fact of the incident, the Investigative Committee organized a pre-investigation check. Based on its results, a decision will be made to institute a criminal case.

Earlier on August 27, it was reported that a six-year-old boy fell out of the window of the eighth floor of an apartment building in Omsk. The child survived, but was seriously injured. He is currently in the hospital. According to police, the mother and grandmother were at home with the child, who "lay down to rest."
