The Chairman of the PSB spoke about the bank's work in new regions

PSB is working to provide residents of new Russian regions with the same banking products that are available throughout the country, said the chairman of the bank, Peter Fradkov.

"PSB is steadily and efficiently developing in new regions: we completed 2024 with an operating profit, and we are also moving forward at a steady pace in 2025. Today, this is a significant scale — more than 3 million individuals and over 100,000 companies have become our customers," Fradkov said during the "Win, Set Big Goals" business conference, which the bank held for its divisions operating in new regions.

The event was also attended by Finance Minister Anton Siluanov and Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseev.

Siluanov recalled that PSB became the first bank to provide financial services to the public and businesses in new regions. "We know that the bank's employees work in the most difficult conditions, sometimes risking their own lives," the minister said, adding that not only banking, settlement services, and insurance services are provided to the population of the new regions. "More than 3,000 families in the new regions have benefited from preferential mortgage programs. By 2030, the task in the new regions is to achieve the average Russian level of financial services provision. I am sure that with such a team we will be able to do this sooner," Siluanov said.

As part of the event, the Minister presented departmental awards from the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation to the employees of the PSB who showed the highest work results.

During the conference, the participants also discussed the priorities of the development of the PSB network in Donbass and Novorossiya, the introduction of modern digital services, support for the population and businesses, as well as further strengthening the bank's role in the economy of the regions.
