The Russian Federation has recorded an increase in demand for domestic electric cars

Demand for electric vehicles and hybrids of the Evolve brand, which are produced at the plant in the Lipetsk region, increased by 13.5% in Russia by mid-2025 compared to last summer. This was reported to Izvestia on August 27 by Avito Auto experts, who analyzed the data on the platform.

The leader in the dynamics of the indicator was the Evolute i-Pro electric sedan (+36%), the most affordable model of the brand. It has also become the most in demand, attracting the attention of half of the audience considering buying a car of this brand. The Evolute i-Van is in second place, with demand for a minivan growing by 33%. On average, Lipetsk—made cars fell in price by 3.1% to 2.85 million rubles.

In terms of the number of ads, the only hybrid model of the brand, the Evolve i-Space, is in the lead with a 50.9% share (its average price is 2.94 million rubles). The second place was taken by Evolve i-Pro with a share of 43.5%. Its average price tag for the year decreased by 29.5% to 2.49 million rubles.

In the secondary market, demand for Evolute increased by 19.8%. Among the models, the popularity of the electric Evolve i-Sky has increased most significantly — by 50.3%. I—Pro is in second place in terms of dynamics (+20.4%), followed by i-Joy (+13%). The i-Pro turned out to be the most in-demand model, as well as among the brand's new cars.

In total, the number of ads with used Evolute models increased by 3.5%. The i-Space model has increased most noticeably (2.1 times). I-Pro is most often found on the platform (54.2% of the offer). I-Space has fallen in price most noticeably in the secondary market: the average price has fallen by 15%, to 2.5 million rubles. I-Sky comes next with a price tag of 2.7 million rubles (the cost fell by 6.9%), and i-Joy closes the top three (-2.6%; 1.85 million rubles).

Earlier, on August 20, it was reported that as of the beginning of July, there were 65.2 thousand electric vehicles in Russia. Since the beginning of the year, the increase in the number of electric cars has amounted to 5.6 thousand units (+9.4%), of which 4.4 thousand cars were sold as new, the rest were used. The most common electric car model in the country is the Nissan Leaf (17.3 thousand units).

On July 14, it became known that Evolve plans to introduce a new model with a hybrid power plant in Russia. This car should be cheaper than the i-Space crossover.
