The director of the Tula resort was punished for the fall of a sculpture on a child

In the Tula region, the verdict was announced in the case of the General Director of Zolotoy Gorod JSC under the article "Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements."

The investigation found that from February to May 2024, by order of the director, a wooden sculpture was installed on the territory of the eco-resort in the Venevsky district. At the same time, the safety requirements were violated, there was no reliable fastening and protective fencing.

As a result, on May 26, the structure fell on a six-year-old boy. Serious harm was inflicted on his health.

The court found the director of the eco-resort guilty and fined 200 thousand rubles, TSN24 writes.

In early June, it was reported that a sports hall collapsed in the city of Artyom during the overhaul of school No. 17. As a result of excavation work for waterproofing and drainage of the foundation, a part of the building where the gym was located collapsed.
