Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince receives letter from Putin on relations with Russia
Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a letter to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud regarding bilateral relations between the two countries. This was announced on August 27 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom.
"His Highness has received a written message from the President of the Russian Federation regarding the bilateral relations between the two countries," reads a message posted on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
It is specified that the Russian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sergey Kozlov, conveyed a message from Putin to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the kingdom, Abdel Rahman bin Ibrahim al-Rassi. During the meeting, the parties also discussed the bilateral relations between Moscow and Riyadh and ways to develop them.
Earlier, on August 19, Putin held a telephone conversation with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, during which he informed Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud about his contacts with US President Donald Trump. The parties also appreciated the joint work in the OPEC+ format to ensure the stability of the global energy market.
