Alcohol sales will be restricted for one day in the Lipetsk region

Retail alcohol sales will be restricted in the Lipetsk region on Knowledge Day. The ban will be in effect from 9:00 to 21:00.

According to GOROD48, the restriction was introduced by a regional law in 2012. The document provides for a ban on the retail sale of alcohol on Youth Day, during Last Calls, Knowledge Day, or any other day if September 1 falls on a non-working day. The restriction does not apply to catering establishments.

The Lipetsk City Hall recalled that violating the ban entails administrative responsibility.

Earlier it was reported that in the Sverdlovsk region in the near future may reduce the time of sale of alcoholic beverages. If the initiative is approved, it will be possible to buy alcohol between 8:00 and 20:00 on weekdays.
