The State Duma proposed to abolish the system of individual pension points

On August 27, the leader of the Fair Russia — For Truth party, State Duma deputy Sergei Mironov, proposed abolishing the system of individual pension coefficients (IPCs) and switching to more transparent pension criteria.

"The IPC system provokes inequality and deprives low-income citizens of the right to a full-fledged insurance pension. The helpers propose to abolish the point system and switch to transparent criteria for awarding pensions," Mironov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
