Siluanov predicted the growth of the Russian economy in 2025
The Russian economy will grow by at least 1.5% in 2025. This was announced on August 27 by Finance Minister Anton Siluanov at a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and members of the Russian government.
"We see that the economic growth rate will nevertheless be at least 1.5%, in any case, according to the Ministry of Economic Development, this year," Siluanov said.
According to him, this year there are tough conditions for monetary policy. In addition, the minister noted that a balanced budget for 2026-2028 will be the basis for the Central Bank of the Russian Federation to mitigate the DKP, and will also become an additional impetus for the development of the economy in the country.
Siluanov said on June 26 that there was no recession in the Russian economy, and specialists from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation were carrying out planned work to cool the situation. He added that the Ministry of Finance, together with the Central Bank of Russia, took timely measures to prevent an economic downturn.
