Bloomberg reported on the same day that the European Union (EU) plans to make concessions to President Trump by speeding up the removal of duties on American manufactured goods. It was noted that, according to the agreement between Washington and Brussels, tariffs on goods in the automotive industry of the EU states in the amount of 27.5% will be reduced to 15% if Europe meets the requirements of the White House on manufactured goods.

The United States and the European Union agreed on a trade deal on July 27. The agreement will allow the EU to avoid 30% duties that could be imposed by Washington. As a result of the deal, the European Union remains with 15 percent tariffs on most of its exports, including cars.
