The leader of the Chaif group noted the importance of gastronomic festivals for the culture of the Russian Federation

Over the past 30 years, Russia has become very gastronomic, as such events bring people together all over the country. Vladimir Shakhrin, the leader of the Chaif group, told Izvestia about this on August 27 on the eve of the Baltika Fest gastro festival, which will be held on September 13 in the Leningrad Region at the Igora Drive autodrome.

"I am very glad that the gastronomic theme brings people together for music festivals. In general, I am deeply convinced that Russia has become a very gastronomic country. Over the past literally, probably 30 years, we have started to understand food right away, we have developed a taste for food, we like to eat delicious food," he believes.

Shakhrin also commented on the return of the Baltika brewing company to Russian jurisdiction and recalled that the company is one of the oldest in the production of foam.

"I'm glad she's back <... > That it has become a Russian brewing company again <... > As in food: at the beginning we wanted delicacies, foie gras and everything else, but then suddenly we abruptly returned to Russian cuisine <... > And the same story happened with beer. That's all gone, that there must be imported beer," the musician shared.

Speaking about the band's performance at the festival, Shahrin promised that he would create an atmosphere appropriate to the event. He added that Chaif will play its famous songs to be a pleasant addition to the event and create the right atmosphere.
