In Poland, a Ukrainian journalist insulted Navrotsky on the air.
In Poland, Ukrainian journalist Vitaly Mazurenko called the country's president Karol Navrotsky a "criminal leader" in prison on live TV. This was reported by Polsat News on August 26.
The host of the program, in turn, called Mazurenko's statements "crossing all boundaries," but he accused her of "anti-Ukrainian propaganda," after which he was disconnected from the air.
Shortly after, Poland demanded that Ukraine apologize for the incident. According to the newspaper, some deputies are awaiting the start of an investigation into the journalist in the case of insulting the Polish president.
Earlier in the day, the head of the Office of the President of Poland, Zbigniew Bogutsky, proposed reviewing the provisions governing the deprivation of acquired citizenship after the case of the Ukrainian journalist. Bogutsky also stressed that Mazurenko should be held accountable for publicly insulting the Polish president.
