Demand for cars assembled in St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad has increased in the Russian Federation

In the summer of 2025, demand for Solaris and SWM cars increased in Russia, Avito Auto experts told Izvestia on August 27. The first are produced in St. Petersburg at the former Hyundai plant, the second - at the Avtotor enterprise in Kaliningrad.

Analysts said that with the overall stability of the market, the demand for individual brands and models has increased relative to spring. The demand for SWM (+49.3%), Solaris (+7.8%) and GAC (+5.8%) cars increased the most significantly.

Among the models, the growth leaders were Solaris HC (+59%), Solaris KRX (+24.6%), Lada Niva Legend (+10.9%), Belgee X50 (+7.6%), Solaris KRS (7.5%), Chery Tiggo 7L (+7.5%) and Changan CS35 Plus (+3.8%).

The most frequently posted ads were for the sale of new Lada (18.8%), Haval (12.7%), Chery (10.2%), Changan (8.6%) and Geely (8.5%) cars. The largest number of offers fell on Lada Granta (7.1%), Haval Jolion (4.8%), Changan Uni-S (3.5%), Belgee X50 (3.1%) and Geely Monjaro (2.9%) models.

The most noticeable increase was in the supply of Belgee (+58.4%), Solaris (+28.1%) and Jetour (+18.4%) cars. Among the models, the number of ads on Chery Tiggo 7L has increased significantly (an increase of 4.6 times), Solaris KRX (2.1 times) and Solaris KRS (+58.4%).
