In addition, 3.6 thousand houses were flooded, and livestock losses amounted to 2 thousand animals. Currently, 1.6 million people are without electricity due to the effects of the storm.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chin called on local provincial authorities to mobilize forces and equipment to reach isolated areas, search for missing persons and provide immediate assistance to injured residents.

The typhoon in the center of Vietnam became known the day before. At that time, 13 injured and three dead residents of the provinces were reported.
