Zakharova named the sponsors of the strikes on the Druzhba oil pipeline
Western countries have issued an indulgence to President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, and with their own money. This was announced on August 27 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
This is how she commented on the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Druzhba oil pipeline, through which Russian oil flows to Hungary and Slovakia.
According to her, in the West they believe that it is possible to simply legalize some crimes, and thus there will be fewer of them.
"And actually, Zelensky was given such an indulgence. We just went even further in this logic. They gave him this indulgence not with his money," Zakharova said on Sputnik radio.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto announced on August 22 that the Druzhba oil pipeline, through which Russian oil flows to Hungary and Slovakia, was again attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result of the incident, oil supplies to Hungary were suspended. According to Szijjarto, they will resume in five days.
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said on August 26 that he was unable to understand the purpose of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attacks on the country's oil infrastructure. He described the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strikes on the Druzhba oil pipeline as "bad intentions."
In turn, Zakharova, in an interview with Izvestia, called the attack pure banditry. She stressed that in international law such activities are classified as terrorist.
