Poland demanded that Ukraine apologize after Ukrainian journalist Vitaly Mazurenko called President Karol Navrotsky a "criminal leader" in prison on live TV. This was reported by Polsat News on August 26.

However, at the suggestion of the host of the program to reconsider her words to Navrotsky, who crossed the line, Mazurenko accused her of allegedly anti-Ukrainian propaganda, after which he was disconnected from the air.

At the same time, Sebastian Kaleta, MP of the PiS party, clarified that he expects the start of an investigation into the case of insulting the Polish president. According to the newspaper, Mazurenko fulfilled "all the conditions" to slander him.

In addition, Navrotsky's staff adviser in the office of Bladja Pobojy added that these statements by the Ukrainian side indicate the legitimacy of the proposal to extend the procedure for granting Polish citizenship to foreign citizens.

On August 25, the Polish leader called for the attributes associated with the leader of the Ukrainian nationalists Stepan Bandera to be equated with Nazi symbols and banned in Poland.

Polish MP Roman Fritz reported on August 5 that the Bandera slogan "Glory to Ukraine!" is equivalent to Nazi greetings. He noted that the Polish side had an example of "shameful forgetfulness of Bandera and the Nazis."
