The number of evacuated residents in the village of Kolkhoznoye in the Nevelsky district of the Sakhalin Region increased to 37 people after the Kazachka River reached the floodplain. This was announced on August 27 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"Rescuers of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are evacuating residents of flooded houses on Sakhalin <...> 37 people have already been evacuated," the department's Telegram channel says.
They added that 27 specialists and 12 pieces of equipment are working at the scene. The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations provides all necessary assistance to local residents in every possible way.
It became known earlier in the day that emergency workers were evacuating residents of flooded houses in the village of Kolkhoznoye in the Sakhalin region. It was noted that seven houses were flooded in the village, the water level in them reaches about 1 m. A local road bridge was also damaged, which led to the isolation of 24 private houses.
