The deterioration of weather conditions near the Villages of Sumy region took the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) by surprise. This was reported on August 27 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"In the Sumy direction, the situation is difficult at the positions of the 80th ODSHBR near Sadki. <...> The sharp deterioration in weather conditions took the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers in their positions by surprise, more than 50% are sick," the Russian security forces told TASS.
