The owners of shops located in Moscow regularly send humanitarian aid to members of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation and actively cooperate with charitable foundations. This was announced on August 27 on the portal of the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

Thus, the supermarkets of the Eastern Administrative District (VAO), which included grocery, construction and hardware stores located in the Golyanovo, Preobrazhenskoye, Sokolniki and Kosino-Ukhtomsky districts, prepared 250 sets for Russian military personnel, which included canned meat and fish, stewed meat and instant noodles.

The boxes also included cans of peas, corn, condensed milk, biscuits, dried fruits, chocolate, tea, coffee, sugar, water and sets of dishes.

Supermarket owners in the Voynovsky district of the Northern Administrative District (SAO) send humanitarian supplies to the special operation zone every two months, which include instant food, protein bars and energy drinks. In addition, people who run shops in the Timiryazevsky district, just like in the Mozhaisk district of the Western Administrative District (ZAO), send funds to Russian fighters.

Entrepreneurs from the Northeastern Administrative District of the capital (NEAO) are sending fresh gingerbread, cakes, flour, juice and sugar to the front.

In addition, shopkeepers from the Southern Administrative District provide assistance to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation: they financially support the army and include ready-made dinners in the kits.

In addition, as noted in the publication, entrepreneurs provide personal hygiene products, medicines, seasonal clothing, including jackets, boots and thermal underwear, as well as building materials and even military equipment, including quadrocopters and whole convoys of cars.

Residents of the Southwestern Administrative District (SWAO) have transferred over 350 tons of humanitarian cargo to new regions since 2022. A total of 115 trips were made there. Ekaterina Razzakova, a deputy of the Moscow City Duma, noted that the volunteers also donated clothes, food and toys for children living in the new regions as part of their activities.
