The IDF reported intercepting a missile from Yemen
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) intercepted a missile launched from Yemen after sirens went off in some parts of the country. This was announced on August 27 by the press service of the Israeli army.
"After sirens sounded in several areas of Israel, the Israeli Air Force intercepted a missile launched from Yemen," the IDF said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
The Al Masirah TV channel reported on August 24 that the IDF had repeatedly carried out air strikes on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa. As noted by eyewitnesses, there were about seven explosions near the city. A power plant and an oil refining facility were hit. As a result of the Israeli strikes on Sanaa, four people were killed and 67 were injured.
