Karymsky volcano in Kamchatka has released ash, raising it to a height of 3 km above sea level. This was announced on August 27 by the Kamchatka Volcanic Eruption Response Group (KVERT) of the Institute of Volcanology and Seismology of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"The explosions raised the ashes of the Karymsky volcano 3 km above sea level," the Telegram channel said.

It is specified that the ash plume stretches for 18 km to the east-northeast of the volcano. Karymsky's activity was recognized as dangerous for local air transportation, and the aviation color code "orange" was announced in this regard.

On August 15, the Kamchatka branch of the Federal Research Center "Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences" (FITCGS RAS) announced that Klyuchevskaya had thrown out an ash column, whose height reached 11 km.
