People in civilian clothes, under the influence of the criminal group "Ivana Mordisko" abducted 34 soldiers in the area of the city of El Retorno in Colombia and demanded the release of the body of one of the rebels for their release. This was announced on August 26 by Colombian Defense Minister Pedro Sanchez.

According to him, representatives of the illegal association, which is associated with the FARC guerrilla group of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, could use threats to force civilians to commit this crime.

"Some of these people, allegedly infiltrated or threatened by Mordisko, are demanding the release of the body of one of the ten killed during the military operation," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Sanchez clarified that the body of the killed rebel is undergoing a forensic medical examination, which is conducted in accordance with the Constitution and "all laws."

On March 16, Geo News TV channel reported the death of seven people, including three soldiers belonging to the Pakistan Border Corps, in an attack by militants of the Balochistan Liberation Army (recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in the Russian Federation). It was clarified that they struck at a convoy of buses, and then were subjected to retaliatory fire launched by the military. As a result of this operation, three militants and one suicide bomber were eliminated.
