In Ingushetia, a 12-year-old boy accidentally shot a 15-year-old teenager

In the city of Malgobek in the Republic of Ingushetia, a 12-year-old boy inadvertently shot and killed a 15-year-old teenager. This was announced on August 26 by the press service of the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"As a result of careless handling of an air rifle, a 12-year-old boy accidentally shot a 15—year-old teenager, wounding him in the chest area, from which he died in a medical facility," the department's Telegram channel says.

The incident occurred on the territory of a private house on Galaev Street in the rural settlement of Sagopshi, Malgobek municipal district.

A criminal case has been opened into the death of a minor under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence"). The scene has already been examined, and a forensic medical examination has been ordered. The circumstances of the incident are currently being established.

Earlier, on February 14, in the village of Chunsky, Irkutsk region, a 12-year-old boy shot his friend with his father's carbine during a demonstration of a rifle. It was clarified that the minor was wounded in the neck and died on the spot.
