The USE of 2026 will be a reflection of the school curriculum
Starting from 2026, the content of the unified state exam will completely coincide with the curriculum of schools. This was reported to Izvestia by Rosobrnadzor, stressing that the changes are aimed at ensuring that graduates demonstrate the knowledge gained over all the years of study.
Each USE assignment will now be linked to specific program points and classes where the material was studied. Normative dictionaries will be added to the Russian language exam as an official source, which will allow graduates to appeal disputed grades. The computer science exam will reduce the number of file formats used as part of the transition to Russian and open source software products.
"The fundamental thing is to what extent a particular teacher in his class follows the established curriculum and to what extent students are ready to perceive the educational material," the institute said at the Federal Institute for Pedagogical Measurements.
Director of the Institute of Child Development, Health and Adaptation Elena Pripova noted that the unified state exam remains the final form of knowledge control. According to Tatyana Dorokhova, associate professor at Ural State Pedagogical University, demos on history and social studies traditionally correspond to the school curriculum, but the exams themselves often turn out to be more difficult and closer to the university level.
"The Unified State Exam is not a final school exam at all, it is combined with a competitive exam for admission to universities in the country. The task of the Unified State Exam is to select units and hundreds of graduates who meet the requirements of strong universities, but all students are sent through this exam, even those who are not going to enter a university," said Alexander Shevkin, teacher of the Russian Federation, author of manuals and textbooks.
He also stressed the need to free the school exam from the function of an entrance exam. Then, in his opinion, the content and methods of solving problems that were studied at school will be checked, as it was before the introduction of the Unified State Exam.
On August 21, it was reported that changes in the structure and content of control measuring materials (CMM) There will be no OGE and USE, as well as the GVE (state final exam), which will be held in 2026. It was clarified that the content of KIM was carried out in accordance with the school curriculum. In the third paragraph of the specification, for each line of the question, the provisions of the school curriculum and the classes in which the assignment material is studied are indicated.
