The head of the Turkish Ministry of Transport, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, was fined for speeding up to 225 km/h. This was reported by The Guardian newspaper on August 26.

"The Turkish Minister of Transport was fined for speeding after posting [on social media] a video of him racing along a highway," the article says.

In several separate frames, where the speedometer is accidentally visible, you can see how the minister accelerates to 190-225 km/ h. The speed limit on this highway in Turkey is 130 km/h.

Later, Uraloglu admitted that he had "exposed himself" with this video. As a result, the politician paid about 9 thousand Turkish lira (more than 18 thousand rubles) as a fine.

Earlier, on August 22, The Guardian newspaper reported on a formal warning issued to British Foreign Secretary David Lammy for fishing without a license with US Vice President Jay Dee Vance. It was clarified that they did not want to bring him to justice earlier. According to the newspaper, the minister later bought a fishing rod license to prevent a similar situation in the future.
