Over 65% of Americans supported Trump's actions in resolving the Ukrainian conflict.

Over 65% of American voters support the actions of US President Donald Trump related to the end of the Ukrainian conflict. The relevant results of a survey conducted by the Harvard CAPS-Harris sociological service were published on August 25.

Thus, 66% of respondents support the American leader in taking steps to end the conflict. 52% are satisfied with the way the US president is negotiating on this issue, and 57% of respondents are confident that Trump "deserves a lot of trust" for participating in the negotiations, regardless of their outcome.

It is specified that the survey was conducted from August 20 to August 21 among 2,025 registered voters. The margin of error is 2.2%.

On August 22, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said that Trump had done a good job as a mediator in the Ukrainian conflict. According to him, it is pointless to blame the US president for "not delivering concrete results."

The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump took place on August 15 in Anchorage. Following the meeting, the Russian leader noted the desire of his colleague from the United States to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. Trump, in turn, shared that the negotiations went very well and called the summit in Alaska wonderful.
