The Turkish authorities will provide shelters in every province of the country amid the escalation of conflicts in the Middle East. This was announced on August 26 by the NTV channel.

"Modern shelters will be built in 81 provinces of Turkey," follows from a story posted on the NTV YouTube channel.

It clarifies that the purpose of the relevant decision is to create zones in which civilians can be protected in the event of a possible armed conflict or disasters.

To implement the project, the Ministry of Environment, Urban Development and Climate Change has begun a study of the territory of Turkey. Construction work has already begun in some cities.

Earlier, on June 25, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his readiness to confront Israel if necessary. According to him, Ankara intends to continue to speak out against "the oppression, evil and unbearable behavior of Tel Aviv."

Later, on July 4, the Financial Times newspaper suggested that the emergence of tougher competition between Ankara and Tel Aviv could be the most dangerous consequence of an armed clash between Israel and Iran. It was noted that some of the Israeli security forces are increasingly considering Turkey's regional influence as a long-term threat.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
