Six people were injured in an accident on a highway in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Six people were injured when three cars collided on the federal highway R-257 "Yenisei" near Divnogorsk in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This was announced on August 26 by the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

According to the agency, the 19-year-old driver of a VAZ car was moving from the village of Verkhnyaya Biryusa towards Divnogorsk, but on the 55th km of the R-257 Yenisei highway he lost control and entered the oncoming traffic lane. There he collided with Volkswagen and Renault cars.

"Previously, six people were injured in the accident, including a 17-year—old teenager," the agency said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that the victims were hospitalized. The circumstances of the incident are being established.

Earlier that day, a bus accident occurred in the Leninsky district of Novosibirsk, resulting in the death of one person. It is noted that the driver of the transport died on the spot, while 10 passengers on the bus were not injured.
