A locomotive killed a man at the Degunino railway station
Suburban trains of the Savelovsky direction of the Moscow Railway (MZhD) and the first route of the Moscow Central Diameters (MCD-1) are delayed due to a locomotive hitting a person near the Degunino station. This was reported in the press service of the highway on Tuesday, August 26.
The Ministry of Railways clarified that at 12:36 Moscow time, a single locomotive fatally injured a person who, according to preliminary information, violated the rules for staying on the railway infrastructure near the Degunino bus stop.
"During the work of doctors and law enforcement agencies, suburban trains of the Savyolovsky direction towards the region and MCD-1 towards Lobnya are delayed on the way. Delays in the opposite direction are possible," the Moscow City News Agency quotes the message.
The press service added that the Moscow Railways apologizes to passengers for the inconvenience and takes all necessary measures to reduce the delay time of trains, writes Moscow 24. In turn 360.ru clarifies that a 23-year-old girl was killed.
In June, a 23-year-old man was killed by an electric train in St. Petersburg. According to law enforcement agencies, he was crossing paths with headphones on. Investigators are conducting an investigation into the incident.
