The Mayor of Moscow spoke about the preparations for the heating season

Comprehensive work on preparations for the heating season is coming to an end in Moscow, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said on his channel in the IACH. According to him, more than 74 thousand buildings have been checked, including over 34 thousand houses.

"By September 1, all city facilities will be ready for the start of the heating season," the mayor wrote. He noted that specialists had checked and prepared 13 thermal power plants, more than 22,000 heating points and boiler houses, as well as networks and utility equipment. In addition, the necessary hydraulic tests were carried out to identify potentially unreliable sections of the network and promptly restore them.

Sobyanin recalled that major repairs of the power unit at CHPP-25 and two hot water boilers at CHPP-26 will also be completed by the end of the year. In addition, more than 2,000 transformer and distribution substations will be repaired this year. As part of the regional overhaul program, work will be carried out in more than 2.4 thousand houses.
